BLOOD ON THE BORDER
The Missouri-Kansas Border Wars
William
Quantrill
“William Clarke Quantrill is the most misrepresented Confederate officer of the Civil War. Historians have intentionally disregarded,
omitted, and neglected information that
demonstrates his skill as a cavalry officer; his support of the Confederacy; his bravery; and his compassion towards his men. The primary sources I’ve found prove that his greatest victories-labeled as massacres-were nothing more than skillful
military operations. Join us as we provide you with the truth about the South’s most misunderstood officer.”
Quantrill's Raid on Lawrence, Kansas
"The Civil War defined us as what we are and it opened us to being what we became, good and bad things...it was the crossroads of our being, and it was a hell of a crossroads."
Shelby Foote
